Lifestyle, Nutrition and Behavior Change Support bridges the gap between clinical advice and daily reality. Most NCD patients know they should eat better, move more, and manage stress — but knowing is not the same as having the tools, support, and confidence to do it consistently within the constraints of real life: limited income, demanding work, family obligations, and deeply rooted food traditions.
Our nutritionists, counselors, and physiotherapists work together to develop personalised lifestyle plans that are realistic, affordable, and culturally appropriate. Dietary guidance is built around locally available foods and realistic family budgets. Physical activity recommendations account for a patient's current condition, mobility, and daily schedule. Behavior change support draws on proven techniques — motivational interviewing, goal setting, and peer accountability — that build intrinsic motivation rather than relying on willpower alone.
This program is fully integrated into the consultation pathway — every patient with an NCD who attends the Center receives a lifestyle assessment and personalised plan as a standard component of their care, not as an optional add-on.
