Salman Shaban is a third-generation family business owner of a metal recycling and manufacturing group, currently based in Doha, Qatar. He oversees operations with a skilled team of experts, guiding his family business toward sustainable growth and innovation. Born in Pakistan and also a Canadian citizen, Salman has a natural affinity for connecting with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.

A target-oriented, cross-functional business leader with over 20 years of global industrial experience, Salman holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Waterloo (Canada) and a graduate degree from HEC Paris (France).

Salman is also actively involved in various esteemed advisory committees, serving on the Patients and Family Advisory Council (PFAC) at Sidra Medicine (Qatar) and the Hamad Medical Corporation (Qatar), the Pearling Advisory Board (PAB) at Pearling Season International School (Qatar) and Board Membership at Emirates Environmental Group (EEG). Additionally, his commitment to mentorship extends through roles as a Global Ambassador at the University of Waterloo (Canada), Ten Thousand Coffees (Canada), and the Global Mentorship Initiative (USA), as well as on the Selection Committee and the Capstone Advisory Panel at HEC Paris (France/Qatar).

He is proud to have contributed as a volunteer to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 in Marketing Rights Delivery and Youth Development Programs, reflecting his dedication to community engagement and international collaboration.

An avid traveler with a passion for cultural exploration, Salman has visited over 35 countries and has lived in six. His interests in sustainability, social entrepreneurship, and community support are deeply embedded in his work and personal mission to make a positive impact globally.
