Unhealthy diets—driven by urbanization, limited access, poverty, or misinformation—are a key risk factor for NCDs. The Center will respond with:
- Nutrition workshops tailored to local dietary practices
- Model edible gardens to teach sustainable food growing
- Integration with school gardens and food literacy programs
- Cooking demonstrations that promote affordable, healthy meals
This integrated approach will not only improve diets, but also strengthen household-level food security.
